The event seeks to support the legislative mandate of the MDB, with respect to:
- Enhance public participation through the launch of public consultations for the Ward Delimitation Process; extensive information sharing session with members of the community, Community representatives, stakeholders and role-players in the ward delimitation process.
- Raise awareness of the schedule for the public consultations (April-June 2025) to ensure maximum involvement of communities.
- Strengthen relations with communities and stakeholders to increase their level of participation and understanding of the process.
- Strengthen engagements with strategic constituencies whose environment is largely impacted by the Board’s outputs and its key decisions.
